PORTAGE AND MAIN ON INSTAGRAM
Portage and Main is pleased to announce the birth of our first twin store in Edmonton, carefully tucked away in Ellerslie Landing. With a quick and smooth arrival, our south store opened for business on April 15 with a lot of hard work to assist in the process! We think she’s pretty cute!
The store features 1000 square feet of adorable, cozy, and ethically produced clothing. You can feel good knowing that anything bought here was made under safe working conditions where workers are paid a living wage. In fact, our factory is 2 blocks away from this location! There we stay up to date with the latest and greatest methods of sustainable production.
In store you’ll find beanies, headbands, and tons of gender-neutral kids clothing options. We carry matching tees, sweaters, and shorts for parents to twin with their littles too! Here you’ll have access to exclusive to merchandise that you won’t find online.
This week, in store only, we are featuring our “snake skin” print and adorable knee-high socks for babies, tots, and kids that we are in love with!
In addition to our own products, we carry your favourite shoes from Stonz, Native, minimoc, and Gracious May. They’re beautifully displayed on our shoe wall for your shopping ease.
Speaking of ease, the store is highly accessible for strollers, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids. As accessibility is one of our key values, we carefully planned the store to have very wide walkways and a convenient ramp right outside our door. Our gender-neutral bathroom has a change table, and is fully stocked with diapers, wipes, and menstrual products just in case!
Happy kids make us happy. At the centre of our store we have a baby-safe play area. Whether they’re colouring, having a snack, or playing pretend in our “fort”, we encourage kids to make themselves at home while parents have free arms to shop.
We hope to see you here soon! We’re located at 9222 Ellerslie Road SW.
Pssssst... This weekend you can grab anything online with free shipping, or pick up in store for free.
If you've never been to the Muttart before (apparently pronounced MUTT-TART, mind=blown) it is a super cool attraction to check out. Most people know them as the weird glass pyramid things downtown-is, but they are four distinct area, each with a different ecosystem.
